Women's World Cup

The 2023 Women's World Cup will take place from 20 July to 20 August. It is the first Women's World Cup to have more than one host nation - Australia and New Zealand - the first World Cup to be held across multiple confederations, and the first Women's World Cup to feature 32 teams, expanded from the previous 24.

Alongside being a milestone event for the women's football community, a tournament like the Women's World Cup is a chance for coaches to observe, reflect and learn.

The content below will give you an insight into what it's like to be a coach at the World Cup, how you can improve your coaching practice while watching the matches, and some ideas of World Cup sessions to try with your players.

Check back regularly over the course of the World Cup for more content to come!
